Each faux shade is handmade to perfection just for you!  We work within 1/8″ accuracy and have a very strict standard for quality. All fabrics are first quality direct from luxury fabric suppliers.

This faux shade will have our Premium Cotton Lining and so sunlight will filter through this shade.  It cannot be made with blackout lining.

This faux shade can be customized for width and length to fit your window perfectly.  If you need an arched or angled faux shade please email us and we can walk you through the process of getting a quote for this!

To figure out the length of your faux shade we recommend 1/4 to 1/3 the length of your window up to a maximum of 24″ long.

For example: If your window is 45″ long we recommend a finished length of 12″ – 15″).

The best way to figure out what length you like is by holding up a tape measure on your window and seeing what makes sense for your space (or as always, email us for help).

MOUNTING NOTES:

Our custom-made faux roman shades can be inside, ceiling or outside mounted on your window.

For inside/ceiling mount: you will be provided with a 1″ depth velcro track that can be mounted inside your window frame or on the ceiling.  You must have at least 1″ in your casing to fit this hardware.  Please provide us with the tight width measurement of your window at the top where the faux shade will hang.

For outside mount: please select 3/4″ projection or 1.5″ projection to clear your window casing depth.  You will be provided with a fabric-covered wood board with velcro to hang your faux shade on.  You will see this hardware if you can view your window from the sides.  Please provide us with the exact finished you want your faux shade to be, we recommend coming out 1″ each side of your frame but it’s up to you!

Please note: hardware over 4 feet wide will be shipped in 2 pieces.  Screws are not provided as client must acquire correct screws for their wall/ceiling/frame type.

Notes:

• Please note that fabrics with linen content can and will have flecks that can be brown in colour that appear intermittently throughout the goods. This is not a defect but rather part of the beauty of having a fabric with a natural linen content.
• Due to the high turnover of fabrics in our inventory, we cannot guarantee dye lots from sample to production.  If you require a specific dye lot match please contact us to order a cutting for approval when you place your order.
