To begin, we’ll work with you to set up a trade account. Once approved, you’ll have access to our exclusive trade services and pricing.
2. Provide Project Scope for Quoting
To provide an accurate quote, we’ll need a few details about your project, including:
- Measurements and photos of the space
- Fabric and treatment details
- Whether installation will be provided by us or if the client is handling it
- On-site measurement is recommended for the most accurate results
3. Receive Your Quote
We’ll send you a detailed quote within 48 hours of receiving all necessary project information.
4. Order Processing & Material Procurement
Once the order is processed and payment is accepted:
- We will order all materials needed to complete your project
- The designer or tradesperson, you will provide any additional materials required
We keep you informed throughout the process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule.
03 / Do I need to bring my own fabric?
At Workroom by Design, we highly recommend purchasing fabric through us to ensure a seamless and efficient process. Our curated selection offers a wide range of high-quality options, all vetted for compatibility with custom drapery and soft furnishings.
That said, we understand that some clients may wish to supply their own material. We’re happy to accommodate this, provided that all quotes are based on accurate fabric specifications, including width, repeat, and content. This helps us ensure the best possible results and avoid any surprises during production.

Designers, builders, and tradespeople can easily get started by filling out our trade application and reviewing our trade policies. Once completed, simply send them back to us for signature.
2. Approval Within 48 Hours
After receiving your application, we will review and approve your account within 48 hours. Once approved, you’ll gain access to our exclusive trade pricing and services, making it easier to work with us on your projects.
05 / What is the turn around time?
At Workroom by Design, we take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship without compromising on efficiency. Our standard turnaround time for custom window treatments is 4 to 6 weeks. This timeline allows us to ensure every detail—fabrication, finishing, and quality control—is completed to our highest standards.
