Cordless Shade Measuring Guide

Need help measuring for cordless shades? We’ve made it simple.

1. Choose Your Mount

• Inside Mount:

  • Ensure at least 1″ of space at the top of the window trim for the headrail bracket (2″ if you want the shade fully recessed).
  • Measure the width at the top, middle, and bottom of the window—use the narrowest measurement to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Measure the height from top to bottom inside the trim.

• Outside Mount:

  • Measure the width from the outside edges of the trim and add 2″ for the finished width.
  • Measure the height from top to bottom outside the trim and add 3″ for the finished length.
